I was out and about yesterday trying to capture some autumn colours with a friend but the weather was pretty bad. Heavy rain combined with winds gusts have been making this autumn short lived. It started kind of late and with this weather now it won’t last much longer. This image was taken in Naturpark Our, a nature reserve in the north east Luxembourg-German border. We had few chances to get our cameras out due to rain and strong winds.

Ayer estuve con un amigo en el norte de Luxemburgo tratando de capturar algo de los colores de otoño pero el tiempo nos lo puso difícil. La lluvia fuerte y el viento no son los mejores aliados del fotógrafo y además están haciendo de este otoño uno de los más cortos que recuerdo. Esto es el Naturpark Our, un parque natural en la frontera noreste de Luxemburgo con Alemania. Estsa fueron algunas de las muy pocas fotos que pudimos hacer.

I saw this amazing place in Stuck On Earth and I simply had to visit! I mapped out my whole trip to Utah and was sure to include this. It was unclear if it was right by the side of the road or if I needed to walk. You never really know unless you read the description, and sometimes (okay, often) I am lazy. Like when I went to visit the Delicate Arch, I had no idea I had to hike for an hour in the burning summer sun to see it. That’s two hours round-trip for those of you scoring at home. Anyway, I was happy to find that this remarkable structure below was plainly visible by the side of the road… and it looked great from the from and the rear.
